Dorion School of Music Therapy

ABOUT  US

The Dorion School of Music Therapy in North America offers a comprehensive training in background, principles and methods of the healing elements of music in their influence upon the human being.  The approach is based on the Spiritual Scientific research of Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) in relation to the human being in need of care and therapy, as well as on some fifty years of research and experience by several physicians, therapists, and musicians, resulting in a holistic music-therapeutic direction.

The Dorion School provides professional schooling through a path of self-development, an Anthroposophical view of health and illness, artistic exercise and music-therapeutic practice.  Tone, interval and attention to inner resonating in the human organism and in the human soul form the basic elements for the process of training.

 OUR AIM

The Dorion School aims to qualify students to bring support and balance to the spiritual, soul and physical well-being of the individual through music as a therapeutic, healing art.
